Plume

The inspiration for Plume’s distinctive character shapes came from the almost romantic elegance of the italic forms found in very early typewriter fonts. The potential softness is, however, tempered by the application of contemporary design principles which combine beauty with utmost functionality. At large sizes the subtle, varied, and often voluptuous design details come into play, but at small sizes Plume is robustly legible, making it an ideal typeface for a magazine or a corporate identity where a touch of playfulness is required.
